Maple Miso Brussell Sprouts

Maple Miso Brussell Sprouts

These brussell sprounts ended up being one of my favorite ways to eat them I've ever made. You get that sweetness from the maple, saltiness, and a hint of umami from the miso. Ughh they're ADDICTING!

Ingredients:

Makes ~4 servings

  • 1 bag brussell sprouts
  • 1/4 c olive oil
  • 1/4 c maple syrup
  • 1 heaping tbsp white miso paste
  • salt

Directions:

  1.  Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
  2.  Wash the brussell sprouts, chop off the ends, and chop them in half. Add them to a bowl.
  3.  Mix the olive oil, maple syrup, miso paste, a small pinch of salt, and a splash of water together. Add more water if needed to completely dissolve the miso paste.
  4.  Once mixed, pour over the brussell sprouts and use your hands to saturate the brussells completely. Bake for 25-35 minutes.

You can turn on the broiler for a few minutes at the end to really crisp them up if you want too. I like to make sure the flat side of the brussell sprouts are facing up in this case. Brussell sprouts are also most beneficial during your ovulatory phase. Enjoy! 🫶
