These brussell sprounts ended up being one of my favorite ways to eat them I've ever made. You get that sweetness from the maple, saltiness, and a hint of umami from the miso. Ughh they're ADDICTING!
Ingredients:
Makes ~4 servings
- 1 bag brussell sprouts
- 1/4 c olive oil
- 1/4 c maple syrup
- 1 heaping tbsp white miso paste
- salt
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
- Wash the brussell sprouts, chop off the ends, and chop them in half. Add them to a bowl.
- Mix the olive oil, maple syrup, miso paste, a small pinch of salt, and a splash of water together. Add more water if needed to completely dissolve the miso paste.
- Once mixed, pour over the brussell sprouts and use your hands to saturate the brussells completely. Bake for 25-35 minutes.
You can turn on the broiler for a few minutes at the end to really crisp them up if you want too. I like to make sure the flat side of the brussell sprouts are facing up in this case. Brussell sprouts are also most beneficial during your ovulatory phase. Enjoy! 🫶
