Mineral Rice Salmon Bowl

Mineral Rice Salmon Bowl

This salmon bowl is easy, quick, and super convenient, but still packs so much benefit for your menstrual phase. The mineral rice is the main benefit here, but you can sub it for bone broth, or use water and a 3" by 3" sheet of kombu for minerals. If you want to make your own mineral broth, see my recipe here!

Ingredients:

Makes 2 servings

  • 1 c rice
  • 1 c mineral broth
  • 2 fillets salmon
  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 tbsp hot honey
  • 2 stalks green onion
  • 2/3 English cucumber
  • furikake
  • salt

Directions:

  1. Wash the rice and add to the rice cooker along with the mineral broth. Pat some salt onto the salmon, then add the salmon on top of the rice. Cook the rice according to your rice cooker.
  2. In the meantime, chop the onion and cucumber.
  3. Once the rice and salmon are done, spoon half into a shallow bowl. Add the mayo, sriracha, hot honey, and green onion, and mash everything with a fork. Then, add the cucumber, and some furikake, and give it one more quick mix.
  4. Top with more furikake and green onion.

The easiest salmon bowl you'll ever make. Feel free to add more veggies of your choosing like edamame, ginger, spinach, whatever you'd like! Enjoy! 🫶
