This is my little spin on the famous Hailey Bieber Strawberry Skin Glaze Smoothie. And it's even more nutritious! I add in hyaluronic acid to the strawberry "glaze" for that skin boost, which is proved to improve the appearance of wrinkles and hydration when consumed orally. This is my go-to oats recipe, I absolutely crave it in the summertime.
Ingredients:
Makes 4 servings
- 2 c gf rolled oats
- 4 servings vanilla protein or collagen
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 c almond milk
- 1 c vanilla yogurt
- 4-5 chopped strawberries per serving
- 1/2 c hyaluronic acid
- 1/2 c strawberry jam (or strawberry compote)
Directions:
- To make the glaze, combine hyaluronic acid and strawberry jam and mix until combined. For a brighter, redder color, make strawberry compote instead of using jam.
- Chop the fresh strawberries into small chunks. Then, mix oats, protein powder, chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla yogurt, and chopped strawberries until everything is well combined. Add more milk as needed to get a thick, but not too thick consistency.
- To serve, portion out the glaze between 4 containers. Then, evenly distribute the oats to each container. Finish the oats with a little extra glaze and chopped strawberries on top.
Oats are simply my favorite breakfast to make as someone who has a sweet tooth. Strawberries are great during your ovulatory phase as well, so it's a go-to during this phase for me. Enjoy!! 🫶
